Our vision for 体育 at Bishop’s Hatfield Girls’ School is to create a safe and enjoyable learning environment where all pupils can make good or exceptional progress.
Our aim is to challenge pupils to develop their practical skills and knowledge in a variety of sporting activities. We aim to engage their curiosity to motivate themselves to allow everyone to become better independent learners.
We encourage pupils to develop the ability to work individually by improving their mental determination to succeed and to co-operate with other learners to achieve successful outcomes.
The specific aims of the 体育 department are to:

Deliver outstanding lessons where outstanding learning from all students is able to take place.
Inspire and encourage pupils to take responsibility for their own and others’ learning and progress in lessons.
Take into account pupils views and opinions and to show mutual respect is shown for pupils and staff alike.
Allow opportunities for the acquisition, development and application of transferable skills that link to a wide range of sporting activities.
